🚀 VR STEM Explorers Session – Free STEM Learning in Virtual Reality!

⚠️We are only permitted to allow one booking per child so please only book in for one session ⚠️

Thanks to the Queensland Government’s Engaging Sciences Grants, Skill Samurai Ashmore is proud to offer FREE VR STEM sessions for children aged 8 - 16! 🎉

🗺️ Various Gold Coast Locations – Please ensure you select the correct venue when booking.
🎟️ Limited to 10 spots per session – A waiting list will be available if sessions fill up.
🔄 Need to cancel or reschedule? Please do so as early as possible to allow others to attend.
⚠️ Each child may only be booked in for ONE session to ensure as many children as possible can enjoy this experience.

🕶️ VR STEM Explorers: Food Webs & Space Adventures 🌍🚀

Step into a world of immersive science learning with VR STEM Explorers! In this exciting session, students will dive into two fascinating STEM topics — ecology and space exploration — all through the power of virtual reality.

🌱 First, we’ll explore the rich ecosystem at the foot of Mount Fuji, where students will identify and interact with species across different levels of a complex food web. From producers to apex predators, they’ll learn how each organism plays a vital role in maintaining balance in the environment.

🌌 Then, we’ll blast off into outer space, getting up close with the sun and planets of our solar system. Students will explore the International Space Station, experience zero gravity, and even enjoy a fun (and surprisingly challenging!) game of space basketball.

🧠 To wrap up, students will enter The King’s Labyrinth, where they’ll put their new knowledge to the test. By completing a STEM quiz challenge, they’ll work their way through the maze, collecting gold and unlocking their way to victory!

🎯 This session blends science, interactivity, and adventure, making it the perfect learning experience for curious minds aged 8–16.

📩 Important: VR-Specific Waiver
As virtual reality is an immersive experience, all participants must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian before attending. This waiver acknowledges:
✅ Awareness of VR-induced motion discomfort (rare but possible).
✅ Understanding that students with a history of seizures should not participate due to the risk of photosensitive reactions.
✅ Agreement that if a participant feels unwell, they will be transitioned to a laptop-based augmented reality session.
✅ Consent for non-identifiable photos to be used for program promotion, including reporting requirements for the Queensland Government’s Engaging Sciences Grant.

If you do not agree to the terms of this waiver and return it prior to the session commencement, your booking will need to be cancelled.
