In this fun, hands-on workshop, students will learn the importance of 3D printing in the real world. In this Coach-lead class, students will learn the mechanics of how a 3D printer works and then work with TinkerCad modelling software to design a simple project that will be printed for them. We now offer students the optional project of creating 3D Printed Night Light covers which will be printed in translucent filament and a free LED night light base will be provided.
Students are able to take their projects home once printed*. Includes all equipment and filament. Please note that 3D Printing Camps prior to the Christmas/New Years Break may have additional delays for collection.
This is an in-person activity, not online.Duration: 1 day, 9am-12pm or 1:30pm - 4:30pm
Guaranteed 1:10 Educator/Student ratio or better!
* Due to the long print times for some objects, your child's project will be ready for pickup generally within 10 days. Please note that 3D Printing Camps prior to the Christmas/New Years Break may have additional delays for collection.
